2025 Silver State Concours de’Elegance (July 12-13)

Concours events began with a Meet & Greet on Saturday, July 12th, at the Genoa Lakes GoLf Supper Club, in Genoa, Nevada. The Meet & Greet included appetizers, a no-host bar, and a Tech Quiz designed to test the Porsche knowledge of those who competed. Still no chocolate this year, sorry ladies (we’ll see what we can do next year).

The 2025 Edition of the Silver State Concours d’Elegance, hosted jointly by PCA Zone 7 and the Sierra Nevada Region (SNR), was held at the Mormon Station State Historic Park in Genoa, Nevada on Sunday, July 13. This is the third consecutive year we’ve held our Concours at this venue. Everyone enjoys the pastoral setting, seeing our Porsches nestled in lush grass under the canopy of 170-year-old trees. The shade offered by the trees was greatly appreciated in the near 100-degree temperature of the day.

The donuts & coffee hosted by the Sierra Nevada Region got everything moving early as contestants prepared their Porsches for the judging that would begin mid-morning. Preparation was easier than last year without a rain storm, although it would have cooled things off. Once the judging was completed, it was time for a buffet lunch under the park pavilion, followed by the awards presentation and the charity raffle, in that order.
