Bill Pearce Porsche Reno is blowing it out to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Porsche Club of America on Saturday, September 13th from 8-10 am at Porsche Reno. Here’s a portion of what’s planned for the celebration:
Free specialty Coffee Bar from Hub Coffee Roasters
Free PCA 70th cake provided by Porsche Reno
Free “PCA 70” Dough Boys donuts provided by Sierra Nevada Region PCA
Drawing for a SNR baseball cap open to Sierra Nevada Region PCA members
Three class “Show and Shine” competition open to all Porsche owners (PCA members and nonmembers). Each class winner will receive a “PCA 70” baseball cap. Full event details follow this message.
Please note: the gates at Porsche Reno will not open until 8 am to start the celebration. We are looking forward to meeting all Porsche owners, friends and fans of the Mark to help us celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Porsche Club of America!
SHOW & SHINE details:
To make this anniversary a real celebration, the Sierra Nevada Region will be hosting a Show & Shine as part of the Cars & Coffee. This is a free event, open not only to SNR members but all Porsche owners. So, clean up your favorite P-car and come on out to Porsche Reno to show your beauty!
SHOW & SHINE rules:
When you arrive on Saturday morning, you can register your car for the Show & Shine. To make it interesting and get your competitive juices flowing (at least a little), there will be three (3) judged classes: Open Sports Cars (Cabs and Targas), Closed Sports Cars (coupes) and Other (SUVs, Sedans and other). Judging will be based on vehicle presentation and “impact”. Think Werks Reunion light (no story needed). A two-judge team will judge each class and name a winner. Simple and fun! The winner will be awarded a special prize.
Show & Shine entry is not required to attend the event, but we hope most of you will feel the need to enter to have some fun, turn heads and enjoy those admiring looks from members and friends.
