Join us for a pre-event drive before we attend Steve & Lucette Simon’s end-of-driving season, Fall Potluck at their home in Gardnerville on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Enjoy beautiful Fall colors on the drive and at the Potluck!!
PLEASE CHOOSE, below: The CLUB DRIVE and POTLUCK Option; or the POTLUCK ONLY Option (driving there on your own).
We will have 2 meeting points for this drive:
Reno/Sparks area folks will meet up at Chase Bank on Wedge Parkway at 10:00 AM. They will depart at 10:30 AM and travel down 395 to the Minden Starbucks.
Carson City/Gardnerville/Minden/South Lake Tahoe area folks will meet at Starbucks in Minden at 11:00 AM. The combined group will depart Minden at 11:30 AM and proceed south on 88 to Diamond Valley Road, across Diamond Valley, then East on 89/4 past Markleeville to the 89/4 split, then over Monitor Pass on 89 to 395, and North on 395 to the Chevron Station at Topaz Lake for a 10-minute comfort stop. Leaving Topaz Lake, we will travel North on 395 to the South edge of Gardnerville, then West on Dresslerville Road and Centerville Lane to Foothill Road, then South on Foothill to Corie Ct, arriving at the Simons’ home at roughly 1 PM.
Our hosts (Steve and Lucette) will be providing at no charge: Pulled Pork & Smoked Beef Brisket, Baked Beans & Coleslaw, soft drinks and water.
POTLUCK: Please bring your favorite appetizer, side dish or dessert to share. Bring your own alcohol if you want. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR OR BLANKET.
There will be a grass parking area for all the beautiful Porsches behind their home.
There will also be a wine tasting provided by Larry the owner of Frog’s Tooth Winery in Murphys CA. Our club wine tasted there on last year’s wine tour to Murphys, CA.
