The Sierra Nevada Region is hosting a Drive to Mammoth Lakes on Friday June 14, 2024, to participate in the Mammoth High Altitude Porsche Tour,  snv.pca.org/events/mammoth-high-altitude-porsche-tour-2024-june-14-16/.  Those joining the drive in Reno will meet at Wedge Parkway (18300 Wedge Parkway) just West of McDonalds between Bank of America and Chase Bank, at 12 PM. We will leave at 12:30 PM to join up with Carson City, Gardnerville and points South club members in Genoa. Those joining the drive in Genoa will meet at 12:30 PM at the Mormon Station State Park. We will leave Genoa at 1:00 PM and after two comfort stops should arrive in Mammoth Lakes before 4:30 PM. Our first comfort stop is at the Topaz Lake Chevron Station, about 2:00 PM. Our second comfort stop is at the Whoa Nellie Deli (Mobil station, junction of CA-120 and CA-395), around 3:30 PM.  PCA members from other regions are welcome to join this drive in Reno, Genoa, or at the Whoa Nellie Deli. 

Please indicate whether you are joining in Reno, Genoa, or the Whoa Nellie Deli in the Comment section when you register. If you decide to join in Reno or Genoa, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the curves of the East Carson River canyon, Monitor Pass, and East Walker River canyon.
