2018 Holiday Party

Over 50 club members celebrated the Holidays together December 13 at Hidden Valley Country Club. A festive holiday mood was set by our Christmas Carolers singing all of our favorites especially We Wish You A Merry Christmas. The Hidden Valley Country Club was beautifully decorated and turns were taken taking pictures in front of the Christmas tree with spouses and friends. The appetizers of Sesame Chicken Tenders and Southwestern Egg Rolls were delicious. Club members brought donated items for our charity raffle including many very cool items from Bill Pearce Porsche. Each raffle item had a basket so you could concentrate your raffle tickets on items you wanted most. The items donated were as follows:

After perusing the raffle items and catching up with fellow Porsche buddies the buffet dinner was served consisting of Fruit & Walnut Salad, Penne Pasta Salad, Fresh Atlantic  Salmon Filet, Grilled Flat Iron Steak, Vegetarian Lasagna, Rice Pilaf with Sundried Cranberries & Sliced Almonds, Potatoes Au Gratin. And then deserts of Apple Cobbler, Brownies, and Mini Cheesecakes.

Yearend awards were presented by outgoing President Steve Kent for those in the club who worked extra hard.  Volunteers of the Year 2018 were John and Debbie Hertel, Members of The Year 2018 were incoming President Ozzie and Millie Smith and Hardest Working Volunteers 2018 were Deven and Renee Hickingbotham. Thank you and Congratulations! to these members for all of their hard work!

Finally the raffle tickets were drawn and announced by Craig Kugler and Steve Kent. The raffle raised $516.00 and PCA added $450. and your region Sierra Nevada Region added another $534 to make a $1500. donation to our charity AMBUCS who builds custom trikes for the handicapped. Thank you for all your donations and raffle ticket purchases!!!
